Shoe boxes galore!
Load #1 - a very full van of 8 cartons - we had a total of 16 cartons!Operation Christmas Child is over. We ended up with 245 boxes! I must say that I have seen the hand of God in how things just happened to come together so that I had help to pull off this task. A willing volunteer, helpers that just happened to show up at the right time to help load the van or pack a box, students who were around when I needed help, my husband's help to get boxes moved and packed, a friend who gave up an afternoon of her vacation to help me finish things out today....yes, God showed up in the faces of my many helpers reminding me once again that He is an ever present help. But now I pray, and ask you to join me, for the shoe boxes, whose journeys are not over - but will now continue on to needy children around the world.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
